Galerna is a classic Scandinavian motor sailer, built in 1972 to entertain the Swedish Royal Family. She is very strongly built to Norske Veritas class and traditionally finished in teak and mahogany. Her Searocq stabilisers and 200 tons displacement ensure absolute comfort at sea. The vessel is a "thoroughbred" blue watger cruiser with recent voyages from the Mediterranean, cruises to the Indian Ocean, South Pacific and the sub-Antarctic Islands.
There is quest accommodation for up to nine in four separate cabins, each with is own ensuite facilities. The master cabin has a bath and large Swedish style sauna.
Galerna is based in Auckland in the summer and winters in the South Island where Fiordland, Stewart Island and the Marlborough Sounds are her natural cruising grounds.
With her large deck areas it is possible to entertain up to 100 guests in style and comfort.
